Teaching summary
In this teaching, Pastor Leonard Rola shares a powerful revelation on the three divine laws that operate under the New Covenant of Grace. He explains how grace does not mean lawlessness, but instead introduces a higher realm of spiritual laws: the perfect law of love, the perfect law of faith, and the perfect law of liberty. Each law builds upon the other, beginning with God's love, energizing faith, and culminating in true freedom. The sermon emphasizes understanding and living in these truths leads to a victorious, grace-filled life.
Bible verses referenced
Corinthians 3:6-7: "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:"
2 Corinthians 3:14: "But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ."
Colossians 2:14: "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross."
Galatians 5:1: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
John 13:34: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."
Romans 13:8-10: "Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandments, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is fulfilling of the law."
Romans 5:5: "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."
Romans 5:8: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
1 Corinthians 13:4-6: "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth."
1 John 4:7-8: "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
Galatians 5:6: "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love."
Mark 11:22-24: "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
James 1:22-25: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your selves. For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."

Introduction: A Message from Tampa Bay
Pastor Leonard opens the message from a peaceful morning in Tampa Bay, sharing how unexpected circumstances led him to livestream this message. Though unplanned, he received a powerful download from the Holy Spirit, which he felt led to share about the three laws that govern the New Covenant of Grace. He expresses appreciation for the community and sets the tone for a personal and Spirit-led teaching.
The Problem with Legalism and the Law
Pastor Leonard discusses common confusion around grace and the law. Many believe that grace means freedom from all laws, but Paul addressed this in 2 Corinthians 3:6-7: "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament…for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious…" He emphasizes how the law brings a veil over hearts and minds (2 Corinthians 3:14) and points to Colossians 2:14: "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us…nailing it to his cross." These laws were obliterated, not merely revised. Galatians 5:1 confirms our freedom: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…"
The Three Laws Under Grace
Pastor Leonard introduces the concept of three laws—or one law with two outflows: the perfect law of love (1), the perfect law of faith (1B), and the perfect law of liberty (1C). He stresses that these laws are spiritual and relational, not regulatory like Moses’ law.
The Perfect Law of Love
The foundation is love, as described by Jesus in John 13:34: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you…" Love is a response to receiving God’s love, and it produces love for Him and others. Romans 13:8-10 echoes this: "Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."
– Paul also teaches in Romans 5:5,8 how God's love is poured into our hearts: "…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost…But God commendeth his love toward us…"
-True love manifests in action, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-6: "Charity suffereth long, and is kind…Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth."
-John echoes this in 1 John 4:7-8: "Beloved, let us love one another…He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."
The Perfect Law of Faith
This law flows from love. Galatians 5:6 tells us: "…but faith which worketh by love." Faith becomes energized by love. Mark 11:22-24 gives a practical application: "Have faith in God…whosoever shall say unto this mountain…believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Faith works because love fuels it. Without love, faith stagnates. Unforgiveness blocks this faith flow. Jesus emphasized the need for a clean heart in prayer.
The Perfect Law of Liberty
With love and faith working, we experience the law of liberty. Galatians 5:1 reminds us: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty…" Liberty isn’t just freedom from Mosaic law, but also guilt, shame, unforgiveness, and internal bondage. Pastor Leonard explains that this liberty is maintained by living in God’s love and walking in faith. Colossians 2:14 is again emphasized: "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances…"
Being a Doer: Living the Word from the Inside Out
Quoting James 1:22-25, Pastor Leonard exhorts believers to be doers of the word: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only…" The keyword "doer" is likened to "poet" (Greek: "poetes"), suggesting expression from within. A poet recites from a deeply etched truth. When we internalize God’s truth, we can live it naturally and powerfully.
Conclusion: You Are Free Because Jesus Did It All
Pastor Leonard concludes by reiterating the sequence: love leads to faith, which leads to liberty. Each law empowers the next. Believers are encouraged to embrace their identity in Christ and recite the truth until it shapes their live. The teaching ends with a reminder of God's finished work: You have, you are, and you can—because Jesus did.
