Teaching summary
In this powerful message, Pastors Leonard and Lori Rola emphasize the truth that believers are not merely human but are born of God—made in His image, righteous, and holy through Christ. They explain how healing, finances, and relationships are all connected to our understanding of righteousness. When the sin factor is dealt with through Christ, the sickness factor is also resolved. Believers are encouraged to reject the limiting mindset of being "only human" and embrace their spiritual identity, standing face to face with God in blameless innocence.

Introduction: Spirit-Led Fellowship
Pastors Leonard and Lori open with gratitude for their viewers and express that every message they bring is led by the Holy Spirit. This time together is not about exalting their own ministries but glorifying God and building up the body of Christ.
God’s Kingdom, Not Man’s Ministry
They emphasize this is not about New Life Church or their names—it’s about the kingdom of God. All glory belongs to God, and everything they teach is for the good of God’s people. Their focus is on “new creation realities,” truths every believer should know and live by.
Healing, Finances, and Relationship Needs
The greatest needs in the body of Christ today, they say, are healing, finances, and relationship restoration. These are common issues, but the solution to all of them is found in one place: knowing who you are as a child of God.
Are We All God’s Children?
Pastor Leonard challenges the idea that everyone is automatically a child of God. He references John 1:12–13- "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor the will of man, but of God." Only those who receive Jesus are truly born of God and become His children.
The Sin Factor, Righteousness, and Identity
He explains that sickness is tied to the sin factor, which is tied to righteousness. Many believers still see themselves as "only human" and fail to recognize their spiritual identity. Transformation begins by renewing the mind and embracing God’s view of us.
God Created Us Face to Face
Referencing Genesis 1:27 and Genesis 2:7, "So God created man in his image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." They highlight the intimacy of creation—God breathing into man’s nostrils, face to face, symbolizing how close He desires to be with us.
The Fall and the Plan of Redemption
From Romans 5:12-"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." They explain the separation caused by Adam’s sin, but also how God, in His love, had a redemptive plan in place from the beginning.
Born Again: A New Image
Using Ephesians 1:4 and Ephesians 4:23–24- "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love." "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
They show that God created us in His image and intended from the start for us to be holy and righteous—face to face with Him again.
One With God Through Christ
Jesus prayed in John 17:21- "That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." This unity with Christ brings us back into perfect fellowship with God.
The Express Image of the Father
From Hebrews 1:3- "Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person…" Jesus is the brightness and image of God. Then from Romans 8:29-30- "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son…" Just as Jesus reflects the Father, we are conformed to the image of Jesus, making us the expressed image of God in nature and character.
Righteousness Answers the Sin and Sickness Factor
Using 1 Peter 2:24- "Who his self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." Pastor Leonard teaches that righteousness takes care of the sin factor—and therefore the sickness factor is also dealt with. Healing is part of the finished work of Jesus.
Closing: Declare Who You Are
The message closes with encouragement to meditate on these truths. Pastor Lori urges believers to look in the mirror and declare, “I’m just like Jesus. I’m blameless. I’m holy.” Identity in Christ is the foundation of all victory in life.
