Opening Encouragement and the Mission of Grace
Pastors Leonard and Lori Rola begin by warmly greeting their audience and expressing their appreciation for everyone joining them. Pastor Lenny explains that this teaching continues the message shared the previous Sunday and encourages anyone who missed that teaching to go back and listen.
Pastor Lori greets the audience as saints, blameless and holy ones, emphasizing that this is how God sees His children. Regardless of whether viewers are watching in the morning, afternoon, or evening, their identity in Christ remains the same.
Pastor Lenny takes a moment to thank everyone who has sent encouraging messages to the ministry. He explains that he and Pastor Lori regularly share these messages with one another because they are uplifting and meaningful.
He also expresses appreciation for the gifts and offerings received by the ministry. These contributions make it possible to grow, expand, and share the true grace message with more people.
The purpose of that message is to help God's children experience freedom from guilt, shame, and condemnation. Pastor Lenny emphasizes that spreading the message of grace is central to their ministry and that the support they receive helps make this outreach possible.
Introducing the Deep Grace Bible School
Pastor Lenny announces the recent launch of the Deep Grace Bible School, an educational ministry initiative developed by Pastor Leonard, Pastor Lori, and their ministry partners. He encourages viewers to visit the school's website, explore its offerings, and consider enrolling. The school is designed to help believers discover biblical truths, particularly concerning the grace of God, that they may never have heard or understood before.
Pastor Lenny explains that the school is not simply about providing information. Its purpose is to equip students with the tools necessary to study the Word of God confidently under the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Students will learn to recognize the truths that belong to them in Christ and develop their own knowledge, understanding, and revelation through Scripture. Rather than depending entirely on someone else to explain the Bible, believers can become equipped to explore God's Word and recognize what He has provided for them.
Pastor Lenny emphasizes the considerable effort that has gone into preparing the school and expresses confidence that it will be a blessing. He encourages viewers not only to consider joining but also to share the opportunity with others.
Jesus Demonstrated the Reality of the Kingdom
Moving into the central teaching, Pastor Lenny reflects on the difference between believers today and the people who encountered Jesus during His earthly ministry. He explains that when Jesus walked among the people, He taught about the kingdom of God in ways they had never heard before. His teaching carried authority. He revealed what the kingdom looked like, what was lawful within it, and how its principles operated. But Jesus did more than teach about the kingdom. He demonstrated it.
Through healings, miracles, and supernatural manifestations, Jesus revealed the nature and power of God's kingdom. People witnessed extraordinary things happening through Him. They heard about His compassion, His love, and His willingness to heal those who came to Him.
Pastor Lenny emphasizes that the kingdom Jesus proclaimed was not merely a collection of religious teachings or rules. It was a kingdom demonstrated through supernatural power, healing, and miraculous works.
This distinction becomes foundational to the rest of the teaching because the pastors are explaining that the kingdom Jesus revealed is the same kingdom believers now inhabit through their union with Christ.
Faith Comes by Hearing and the Challenge of Knowing Too Much
Pastor Lenny suggests that, in one sense, people living during Jesus' earthly ministry may have had an advantage over modern believers.
Many of those who first heard about Jesus were not burdened by years of conflicting religious teachings concerning healing, miracles, and what they were supposed to do to receive from God. They simply heard about Jesus. They heard about His love, compassion, healing power, and the miracles happening through Him.
Pastor Lenny connects this response to Paul's teaching about how faith comes.
Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
As people heard about Jesus, faith arose within them. That faith moved them to seek Him, and many received healing. Some were healed when Jesus touched them. Others experienced healing simply by reaching out and touching Him.
Pastor Lenny contrasts this with the experience of many believers today. He explains that modern Christians have often accumulated so much religious teaching that they struggle to believe the simple truths of God's kingdom. He initially describes this as knowing too much, but then clarifies the deeper issue.
The problem is not necessarily having too much knowledge. It is knowing things that do not accurately reflect God's truth while failing to understand the truths that actually belong to believers in Christ.
Pastor Lori agrees with this distinction.
Their concern is that incorrect understanding can interfere with a believer's ability to recognize and experience the realities of God's kingdom. This leads directly into the importance of understanding grace, righteousness, and the believer's authority through Jesus Christ.
Reigning in Life Through Abundant Grace and Righteousness
Pastor Lenny asks Pastor Lori to read Romans 5:17, explaining that this Scripture has become an important foundation for his recent teaching.
Pastor Lori reads from a translation emphasizing that death once ruled humanity through the failure of one man, but believers now reign in life through the abundance of grace and the gift of perfect righteousness in Jesus Christ.
The King James Version states:
Romans 5:17 "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ."
Pastor Lenny draws attention to the promise that believers shall reign in life through Jesus Christ. He emphasizes that reigning in life is not presented as something believers must accomplish independently. It comes through Jesus. The abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness are central to this reality.
Pastor Lenny explains that believers are supposed to reign in life through Christ. This includes exercising kingdom authority over situations, circumstances, and even matters concerning their physical bodies and health. He does not describe this authority as something earned through religious effort.
Instead, he connects it to the abundance of grace and righteousness already received through Jesus. The pastors emphasize that believers must understand what has been given to them before they can confidently live from that position.
Adam's Original Position and Christ's Restoration
Pastor Lenny then returns to the beginning of Scripture to explain God's original intention for humanity. He directs attention to Genesis 1:26.
Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that crept upon the earth."
Pastor Lenny emphasizes two important truths from this passage.
First, humanity was created in God's image and likeness.
Second, humanity was given dominion.
He explains that Adam originally lived in the abundance of God's grace. Everything Adam needed had already been supplied. Adam did not begin his existence struggling to earn God's provision or favor. He was fully supplied through grace.
Pastor Lenny also connects God's image and likeness to holiness and righteousness, explaining that Adam originally stood in a position of righteousness and peace with God. However, Adam failed to believe and remain established in what God had given him.
Pastor Lenny identifies this failure as the beginning of humanity's fall. Returning to Paul's comparison in Romans, he explains that one man's failure brought humanity into a terrible condition. But another man, Jesus Christ, came to deliver humanity from that condition.
Romans 5:17 "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ."
Pastor Lenny stresses that Jesus did more than rescue humanity from the consequences of Adam's failure. He brought believers into a new kingdom. This restoration is essential to understanding why the pastors believe miracles and supernatural kingdom living belong to the believer's present reality.
Established in Christ and Translated into His Kingdom
Pastor Lenny explains that Jesus has not merely forgiven believers and left them in their former spiritual condition. They have been transferred into another kingdom.
He refers to Colossians 1:13.
Colossians 1:13 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:"
Pastor Lenny emphasizes that believers have already been delivered from the domain of darkness. They have already been translated into the kingdom of God's beloved Son. This is not described as a future possibility but as an accomplished spiritual reality.
He then turns to the truth of becoming a new creation in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Pastor Lenny explains that believers are new creations because they are in Christ.
He then references 2 Corinthians 1:21–22 to establish how secure that position is.
2 Corinthians 1:21–22 "Now he which established us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts."
Pastor Lenny emphasizes that God Himself establishes believers in Christ.
Furthermore, God seals them with the Holy Spirit. He explains that this establishment is not something believers accomplish through their own strength. It is God's work. Because God has established and sealed believers in Christ, Pastor Lenny declares that nothing can break that establishment. He then compares the new creation to humanity's original position in the garden.
Believers have received the abundance of God's grace and the gift of His righteousness. They have been restored to a position where they can live and reign through Christ. The pastors present these truths as the foundation for understanding the authority and supernatural realities of kingdom living.
Understanding Our New Creation Reality
Pastor Lenny continues by explaining what it means to live as a new creation. He emphasizes that believers are holy, righteous, perfect, and complete in Christ. They are united with Jesus. They are one with Him. They are also seated with Him in heavenly places.
Ephesians 2:6 "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"
Pastor Lenny explains that believers must begin to recognize their position alongside the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. They are not separated from Christ's authority. They are united with Him. He describes believers as kingdom dwellers, emphasizing that their true spiritual reality is not limited to what they experience through their five physical senses. Sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell reveal the circumstances of earthly life, but they do not reveal the entirety of a believer's existence in Christ.
The pastors describe the physical body as an earthly dwelling while emphasizing that the believer's spiritual identity is rooted in the kingdom of God.
Pastor Lenny explains that believers have already been transferred into that kingdom.
Colossians 1:13 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:"
Because believers are seated with Christ, Pastor Lenny emphasizes that His authority is present with them. He explains that this union with Jesus gives significance and power to the believer's voice. The challenge is learning to recognize this spiritual position as an existing reality rather than treating it as a distant religious idea.
Wisdom, Revelation, and Seeing as God Sees
Pastor Lenny explains that believers today are in a different position from those who first encountered Jesus. Modern believers have heard about Christ and have access to the Scriptures.
Therefore, the issue is not simply hearing about Jesus for the first time. The challenge is growing in understanding and revelation concerning what has already been accomplished through Him.
Pastor Lenny explains that this understanding is essential for experiencing the miraculous and supernatural and for continuing in kingdom living. He introduces one of Pastor Lori's favorite prayers, found in Ephesians 1:17.
Ephesians 1:17 "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:"
Pastor Lenny explains that Paul prayed for believers to receive wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. Pastor Lori confirms that she has prayed this prayer for years.
The pastors describe revelation as something that springs up from within believers through the Holy Spirit. They desire to know what God knows and see what He sees. Pastor Lenny emphasizes that this is where victory is found.
He encourages believers to picture themselves united with Jesus, seated with Him, and sharing in His resurrection life. Rather than struggling to earn a new spiritual position, believers are encouraged to rest in what Christ has accomplished.
Pastor Lenny identifies several important areas of understanding: God's love, the righteousness believers have received, and their union with Christ. He encourages believers to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what is already true. The desire is to understand their spiritual realities more deeply and allow that revelation to transform how they think and live.
Pastor Lenny explains that as knowledge and understanding increase, transformation begins to take place. He returns to his earlier statement about knowing too much and suggests that perhaps the greater problem is not knowing enough of the right things.
Walking by Faith Rather Than the Five Senses
Pastor Lenny addresses the conflict believers sometimes experience between their spiritual identity and their physical circumstances.
A person may hear that they are righteous, holy, complete, and glorified in Christ but then look at their behavior or circumstances and question how those things could possibly be true. He gives examples of someone thinking about mistakes made yesterday or earlier that morning. Such a person might feel unworthy because of something they have done. Likewise, someone experiencing pain in a knee or hip might struggle to reconcile their physical condition with the spiritual truths being taught.
Pastor Lenny explains that these responses come from judging reality primarily through the five physical senses. He points believers toward walking by faith rather than sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7 "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)"
The pastors emphasize that believers must learn to accept what God's Word declares about them even when their feelings or circumstances appear contradictory.
Pastor Lenny encourages believers to acknowledge that God's Word reveals who they are and what they have received. The challenge is not to work harder to become righteous or complete. It is to grow in understanding of what has already been given. He explains that believers do not have to earn their identity or struggle to become something they are not.
They already have received these spiritual blessings through Christ. Their responsibility is to grow in knowledge, understanding, and confidence concerning those truths.
Pastor Lenny becomes enthusiastic while explaining these things and briefly apologizes for talking so much. Pastor Lori responds that she loves what he is sharing and is excited about the subject. This leads into her personal experience of seeking a deeper understanding of the kingdom realm.
Elisha's Servant and the Unseen Kingdom
Pastor Lenny introduces an Old Testament account to illustrate the difference between seeing only the natural world and recognizing the unseen spiritual realm. He recalls the story of the prophet Elisha and his servant when enemy forces surrounded them.
The account is recorded in 2 Kings 6:15–17.
2 Kings 6:15–17 "And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."
Pastor Lenny describes the servant as being frightened when he saw the enemy forces surrounding them. From the servant's natural perspective, the situation appeared dangerous and overwhelming.
Pastor Lenny humorously imagines Elisha remaining calm, almost as though he were casually reading the morning newspaper. Elisha understood something his servant did not yet recognize.
There was another reality present beyond what the servant could see with his natural eyes. Rather than responding with fear, Elisha prayed that God would open the servant's eyes. When God opened his eyes, the servant saw the heavenly forces surrounding them.
Pastor Lenny describes the extraordinary sight of fiery chariots and heavenly hosts. The servant's circumstances had not suddenly become different simply because he could now see the spiritual realm. The unseen protection had already been present. What changed was his ability to recognize it.
Pastor Lenny uses this account to illustrate the importance of spiritual revelation. Believers may see difficulties, opposition, and troubling circumstances through their physical senses while remaining unaware of the greater spiritual realities surrounding them.
The pastors emphasize that believers already live within God's kingdom and need their understanding opened to recognize that reality. This illustration connects directly to Pastor Lori's growing desire to see and understand the unseen realm more clearly.
Pastor Lori's Revelation of the Finished Work
Pastor Lori begins sharing how the Holy Spirit has been leading her into a deeper understanding of what Jesus accomplished. She explains that her journey began with thinking about Adam and Eve in the garden. As she considered humanity's original condition and Adam's fall, she began reflecting on why Jesus came.
Jesus came to correct what had gone wrong. He paid for the failures, mistakes, and sins that had separated humanity from God's original intention. Pastor Lori connects this restoration to Jesus' declaration that His work was finished.
John 19:30 "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost."
She began asking herself whether the finished work of Jesus meant that believers had been restored to the position Adam occupied before his fall. Her understanding was that Jesus had accomplished everything necessary to restore what had been lost.
Pastor Lori expresses amazement at this realization. She explains that she had to spend time considering what it meant. The thought that Jesus had fully paid for humanity's failures and restored believers to God's original intention became a powerful revelation for her. She emphasizes that Jesus did not leave part of the work unfinished. He completed it.
Pastor Lori then explains that this understanding prepared her for another revelation while reading Colossians. She describes the Holy Spirit as wonderful and expresses excitement about how these truths have been unfolding within her.
Co-Raised With Christ and Living in Throne Room Realities
Pastor Lori turns to Colossians 3:1, explaining that this passage has become especially meaningful to her. She reads from a translation emphasizing that believers are co-raised with Christ and should mentally relocate themselves into the realities of their union with Him.
The King James Version states:
Colossians 3:1 "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ seated on the right hand of God."
Pastor Lori focuses on the truth that believers have been raised with Christ. She explains that she began considering what it actually means to be co-raised with Jesus. If believers were raised with Him, then His resurrection has direct consequences for their identity and spiritual position. She becomes especially interested in the instruction from the translation she is reading to consider the consequences of being included in Christ.
Pastor Lori humorously observes that everything has consequences, but these are good consequences. She then focuses on the idea of mentally relocating herself. For her, this means deliberately directing her thoughts toward the spiritual reality of being raised with Christ and seated with Him in heavenly places.
Ephesians 2:6 "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"
Pastor Lori explains that she is physically present on earth, living in a human body, but her true identity is spiritual. She describes herself as a spirit being living in a flesh suit. Although earthly life is real, it is temporary compared with eternity. She explains that her true spiritual reality is her union with Jesus.
Pastor Lenny observes that believers have been confusing their realities. Pastor Lori agrees. She explains that while physical circumstances are happening around her, her spiritual identity remains rooted in what Jesus accomplished.
She is co-raised with Him.
She is united with Him.
She is seated with Him.
She is complete in Him.
Pastor Lori expresses excitement about continuing to meditate on this passage and allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal more of what these truths mean. She says she wants to live in the reality described by the Scripture. Rather than treating it as a verse to read occasionally, she wants it to shape her daily understanding of who she is.
Pastor Lenny returns to Romans 5:17 to connect her revelation with the authority believers have received.
Romans 5:17 "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ."
He explains that believers must see themselves as united with Christ. They are one with Him. They are seated with Him. They share in the position of authority that comes through their union with Jesus.
Pastor Lenny even uses the affectionate image of possibly sitting on Jesus' lap to communicate the closeness of this relationship.
His point is that believers are not distant from Christ. They are in Him, and He is in them. The pastors emphasize that recognizing this union is essential to understanding how believers can reign in life through Jesus Christ.
Believing in the Unseen Realm and Expecting Miracles
Pastor Lori explains that another important part of her journey began with a question she asked herself. Did she really believe in the unseen realm? She began considering the evidence of God's unseen activity in her own life.
First, she thought about what happens when she reads the Word of God. The words appear on a page or screen, yet something happens within her as she reads. She describes the living Word as active and powerful. Although she cannot physically see the spiritual transformation taking place, she knows that God's Word is changing her.
For Pastor Lori, this is evidence of the unseen realm at work. She then considers prayer. When she prays to God, she cannot physically see Him or touch Him. Yet she knows Him as her Savior and her God.
She knows the Holy Spirit is real and alive. She recognizes that spiritual experiences and transformations are taking place even though they are not visible to her physical eyes.
Pastor Lori also thinks about the account of Elisha's servant and the heavenly hosts.
She reflects on the reality of angels, miracles, and supernatural events. These things belong to a realm that cannot ordinarily be observed through the physical senses. Yet Scripture reveals that this realm exists.
Pastor Lori concludes that she does believe in the unseen realm.
She recognizes that she has already experienced God's unseen work through His Word, prayer, the Holy Spirit, and spiritual revelation. Her desire now is to become increasingly aware of this reality. She encourages believers to begin the same journey. Rather than limiting their understanding to what they can physically see, they can begin recognizing the reality of God's kingdom and His supernatural activity.
Pastor Lori expresses excitement about the discoveries she is making and encourages others to believe in the unseen realm.
Pastor Lenny agrees and affirms her encouragement. The central message of their discussion is that miracles are not disconnected from the believer's spiritual identity.
The pastors present the miraculous as part of the kingdom reality into which believers have already been brought through Jesus Christ. As believers grow in understanding of their union with Him, the abundance of His grace, and the gift of righteousness, they can increasingly recognize and live from that spiritual reality.
Closing Encouragement and Invitation
As the teaching comes to a close, Pastor Lenny again encourages viewers to visit the Deep Grace Bible School. He explains that they can find the school by searching for its name online. He invites viewers to explore the website, learn about the school, and consider enrolling. He expresses confidence that the teaching and resources will bless those who participate.
Pastor Lenny also encourages viewers to share the school with friends and others who may benefit from learning more about God's grace and their identity in Christ. The pastors express their love and appreciation for everyone who watches, supports, and encourages the ministry.
They thank their audience for everything they do and announce that they will return with another teaching in a few days. The message closes with a continuing invitation to discover more of what Jesus has already accomplished.
Throughout the teaching, Pastors Leonard and Lori Rola emphasize that believers are not attempting to earn God's righteousness, gain a position in His kingdom, or accomplish through personal effort what Jesus has already finished.
They have received the abundance of grace. They have received the gift of righteousness. They have been established in Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and translated into the kingdom of God's beloved Son. They have been raised and seated with Christ.
The challenge is to recognize these truths, believe them, and allow the Holy Spirit to deepen their understanding. The pastors encourage believers to look beyond the limitations of their physical senses and begin seeing themselves according to the spiritual realities revealed in God's Word. Their message is one of grace, restoration, union with Christ, and the expectation of experiencing the supernatural realities of God's kingdom. Miracles are not presented as something belonging only to the distant past. They are part of the kingdom reality the pastors encourage believers to recognize and experience today.
We hope this teaching has blessed and encouraged you to discover more of your identity in Jesus Christ and the wonderful realities of His finished work. Please share this message with your family, friends, and others who need to hear the good news of God's abundant grace. As you continue growing in wisdom and revelation, may you become increasingly confident in who you are in Christ and all that He has accomplished for you. Thank you for joining Pastors Leonard and Lori Rola in exploring the truth that miracles are our reality.
