Introduction and Thanksgiving
The message begins with Pastor Leonard greeting the congregation alongside Pastor Lori. He expresses gratitude for the love, encouragement, and financial support from their partners and friends. He emphasizes how much their prayers, cards, letters, and offerings mean to the ministry.
Pastor Leonard: Righteousness and God’s Love as the Two Greatest Forces
Pastor Leonard explains that they left off previously studying Paul’s methodology for healing. One key foundation is understanding and knowing God’s love. For many years, he himself was not convinced of God’s love because he believed it was conditional on behavior. Having been told repeatedly that he was “just a sinner saved by grace,” he struggled to accept unconditional love.
He highlights his book, The Two Greatest Forces in the Life of a Believer: Righteousness and God’s Love for Us, which teaches that these two forces activate healing, prosperity, wellness, and growing relationships. He affirms that when we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we are united with Him and instantly become righteous. From that revelation, he also received a growing understanding of God’s love.
Pastor Leonard: A Daily Revelation of God’s Love
He shares that he used to wake every morning, thanking God for loving him. Instead of focusing on his own love toward God, he shifted to thanking God for His love: “Father, thank you for loving me with the same love you have for Jesus.” Throughout the day, he reminded himself of God’s love, and at night he closed his eyes with that thought. He emphasizes that God’s love is not behaviorally based—it is unconditional. Nothing could make God love him more, and nothing could make God love him less.
He declares that love is a powerful force energizing faith, citing Galatians 5:6: "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love."
Pastor Lori: Striving for Acceptance vs. Receiving Unconditional Love
Pastor Lori then shares her testimony. Unlike Leonard, she thought she was “pretty good” because she avoided outward sins, yet she struggled with her thoughts. Since Jesus said thinking sin is as guilty as committing it, she never knew where the line was that made her “acceptable” before God. She constantly tried to be better, read more, and do more, exhausting herself in the process. She describes the breakthrough moment when the revelation of God’s unconditional love lifted the weight off her life. It was no longer about striving for God’s approval but resting in His love.
He declares that love is a powerful force energizing faith, citing Galatians 5:6: "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love."
Pastor Lori: The Root and Foundation of Love
She references Ephesians 3:17, explaining that love is like the root system of a tree or the foundation of a building. Without roots, a tree cannot stand, and without a foundation, a house collapses. In the same way, love is the believer’s foundation. She illustrates that skyscrapers are built higher because their foundations are dug deeper, showing that the deeper we are rooted in God’s love, the higher and stronger our lives become in Him.
Pastor Lori: Love as the Invisible Power Source
She calls love our invisible inner source—the power source for our lives. It is not about our love for Him but His love for us. The more we understand His love, the more this invisible power is released in our lives. She explains that her healing came through the revelation of His love, while reading translations that emphasized God’s view of her as holy, blameless, and pure.
She reiterates that God’s love is not conditional on behavior. His love is endless, beyond measurement, and beyond understanding, echoing Ephesians 3:18-19: "May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God."
Pastor Lori: Overflowing with the Fullness of God
She explains that as the Holy Spirit illuminates God’s love, believers are filled to overflowing with His fullness. This extravagant love pours from within us until every part of life is touched. The more understanding we gain, the more that love becomes a living reality.
Pastor Lori: Resurrection Life Released Within
Pastor Lori explains that by constantly using faith, the life of Christ is released deep inside of believers. She reflects on Christ’s peace during the storm, His patience, kindness, and love. All of this life is inside every believer because of God’s love.
This life is resurrection life, new life, and victory. She emphasizes again that releasing this power source requires understanding that God’s love is not conditioned on behavior. That revelation brings victory in healing, finances, and relationships.
Pastor Lori: Unlimited Riches of His Glory and Favor
She closes with a declaration from Ephesians 3:16 personalized: “Unveiled in me is the unlimited riches of his glory and favor for me, until supernatural strength floods my innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.”
She encourages believers not to worry about anything but to rest in His love. His glory, favor, and indwelling Christ are within each of us. His love is immeasurable, and as we rest in it, we experience it more deeply.
Closing Exhortation
The message ends with an encouragement to enjoy and rest in God’s love. Pastors Leonard and Lori affirm that God’s love is for us without condition, beyond measurement, and meant to empower us daily.
We hope this article blessed you. Share this teaching with others so they too can experience the immeasurable, unconditional love of God revealed in Christ Jesus.
